Rock ‘n Roll Performance – Teen Virtual Program

July 15 - July 26

Due to the restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic and in order to maintain the overall health and safety of our community IMA will not be holding residential sessions on campus this summer, instead we will be offering virtual programs in July and August.

The Teen Performance Program (for teen-aged girls from 13-19) will focus on developing ensemble rhythmic, vocal, playing, songwriting and performance skills for on-line presentation using the Acapella app.  Classes will be from 3-5PM and from 7-8PM.  Private lessons, tech help, songwriting sessions with faculty and interns will be from 8-10.  The Virtual Barn will be open until midnight for students to hang out and collaborate on songwriting and arranging for their virtual performance on July 26th.

All students who submit an original composition in advance will receive a $150 scholarship provided through our grant from the ASCAP Foundation Irving Caesar Fund • Financial assistance is available as well.
