Rock 'n' Roll 2008 Summer Programs
(formerly known as the IMA Rock 'n Roll Camps)
During the summer IMA offers a series of classes which provide an excellent opportunity for skills development, networking, and jamming.
Sessions have included: Composition and Songwriting, Studio Recording and Album Production as well as Performance Skill Development and three two week long Rock 'n' Roll Girls' Camp sessions
Rock 'n Roll Programs (formerly known as the IMA Rock 'n Roll Camps)
Explore Rock 'n Roll $450 june 25th-june 29th for girls 9-12
Designed for pre-teen girls interested in playing rock 'n roll or other forms of popular music • camp offers opportunities to explore various instruments, to begin writing songs and to participate in a short performance for family and friends
Rock 'n roll Peformance Intensive $950
session I: july 11th-20th • session II: july 25th-aug 3rd for teen-aged girls 13-19
Designed to give teen-aged girls an opportunity to speak their truth through the medium of rock 'n roll, gain confidence in performance abilities, improve musicianship and develop collaborative leadership skills • campers select original or cover tunes to arrange, chart, rehearse and perform at the end of the camp • all girls will participate in writing, vocal, drum & percussion, chart writing & arranging classes and have access to a wide array of instruments.
Studio Recording & Production Program • $950 • august 8th-17th for girls and young women 16-21
Hands-on” studio recording seminar for girls and young women 16-21 who are ready to record their own music or interested in exploring studio engineering as a career • students will learn recording basics and have the opportunity to record their own work and engineer the work of the other participants.
Fees include housing, meals, access to equipment and instruction.

October 10-12th, Barn Dedication Weekend!!!!
Mark your calendars!!! Whether the studio is totally done or not we are celebrating the first 21 years of IMA . There will be music, food and tours of the facility and a dedication ceremoney. We hope all of those who have helped bring the dream of IMA to the place it is today will come and join the festivities. More to be announced!
